Traditionally, demand suppression was viewed as a reduction in electricity costs. However, due to the recent power supply and demand crunch, energy management that considers the power supply and demand balance has become increasingly important from an energy conservation perspective. Consequently, reductions that include the concept of "time," such as peak cutting and peak shifting, are now being recognized, moving beyond the traditional concept of "quantity" in energy conservation. How electricity bills work
Businesses with high-voltage power reception contracts calculate their electricity bills based on a basic charge determined by their contracted power capacity and a power consumption charge based on the actual amount of electricity used.
Contracted demand is determined in this way.
The basic charge is determined by the maximum demand power. The demand power is calculated by averaging the electricity values measured by the power company's meter every 30 minutes. The maximum demand power for the month will be the highest demand power value in that month. The contracted power will be the larger of the maximum demand power values within the past year, including the current month.

EcoPowerFit determines the timing of control based on the outdoor unit's current consumption, allowing for control at optimal timings that do not burden the compressor. Additionally, by predicting the indoor environment based on the trend of current consumption, it initiates control so that even slight temperature increases (around less than 1 degree Celsius) for energy-saving operation are not perceived as uncomfortable.
